The nutritional information given after each menu is approximate and is based on one serving of each of the menu items listed (excluding any suggested wine). Our goal is to develop menus and recipes that meet the National Cholesterol Education Program Adult Treatment Panel III and American Heart Association guidelines. Pesto Pasta Salad with Tomatoes, Feta & Sausage- Serves 4
1 box Meijer Multigrain Extra Penne Rigate Pasta- $0.75
1 (3.5 oz) jar pesto- $2.99
1 lemon, zested and juiced- $0.33
1 cup grape tomatoes, halved- $1.25
4 scallions, chopped- $0.25
3/4 cup feta cheese- $2.23
1 tbsp. Meijer Extra Virgin Olive Oil (on hand)
1 pkg. Meijer Gourmet Sausage, sliced- $1.99
Bring large pot of salted water to boiling. Cook pasta al dente according to package directions, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and place under cold running water. Drain well. Meanwhile, place pesto, lemon zest, lemon juice, tomatoes, scallions and feta in large bowl. Heat oil in large skillet over medium- high heat. Add sausage; cook and stir until heated through, about 4 minutes. Add pasta to pesto mixture. Add sausage; toss to combine, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve.

Asian Style Turkey Burgers- Serves 4
1 lb. Jennie-O Lean Ground Turkey- $3.43

Combine turkey garlic, green pepper, onion ginger, soy sauce, and salt and pepper in large bowl. Divide turkey mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties. Grill over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until done (170 degrees F). Serve on buns.
