Recipe entries must be submitted with images, a valid email address, and follow the guidelines below:
- The recipe must contain at least one Meijer brand iteam.
- The recipe must not exceed 500 words in length
- The recipe must be an original recipe and not duplicated from other brands or recipe sites.
- Recipe must be submitted with an image taken with a digital camera.

Meijer Mealbox Sweepstakes

3. HOW TO ENTER:
On-Line at meijermealbox.com: Beginning 1/01//09 until 06/25//09, visit Meijermealbox.com and follow the links and instructions. You will receive one (1) entry for each recipe entered. Recipe entries must be submitted with images, a valid email address, and follow the guidelines below:

4. ELIGIBILITY:
Open only to legal U.S. residents only who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Meijer and their respective affiliate companies, parents, subsidiaries, agents, advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate families or persons residing in the same household of such employees are not eligible to enter or win. Determination of eligibility is at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
5. DRAWING:
Sponsor will select winners from all eligible entries submitted in a random drawing each month in Grand Rapids, MI as follows:

Limit one (1) prize per person and per household. Entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Winners will be notified by phone or mail. Winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within 14 days of notification in order to receive the prizes. In the event of non-compliance with these requirements, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. If prize/prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded.
6. PRIZES/ODDS OF WINNING PRIZE:
Prizes consist of one (1) $50 Meijer Gift Card (Approximate Retail Value of Prize: $50.00.). All federal, state and local regulations apply. Prizes are non-transferable. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All taxes or expenses, including, without limitation, sales tax, luxury tax and any other costs incurred in claiming or using any of the prizes, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. No prize substitution or cash equivalent of prize, except at sponsor’s sole discretion, and then only for a prize of equal or greater value. The prize will be subject to a 1099 tax form and will be mailed to the winner by February 15, 2010.
7. GENERAL:
Not responsible for lost, late, delayed, incomplete, entries not received by the entry deadline, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone, computer hardware or software, and other technical errors or failures of any kind, including any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any materials in connection with the Sweepstakes; unauthorized human intervention; failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, that may limit a user’s ability to participate in the Sweepstakes, including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online regardless of cause. All materials become exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all entries affected by such methods and be deemed tampering. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules.
