MealBox Meal Planner

Meal Planner is the easiest way to utilize Mealbox to its fullest.  With a little dragging and a little clicking, you can have your week's meals planned and organized with recipes, shopping lists and coupons all at once!

To easily add a recipe to your Meal Planner, just drag the image of the dish into the Meal Planner bar.  Tip: For Meal Planner, be sure you drag the image onto the date on which you want to prepare the meal.

Changing your Meal Planner is just as easy.  You can simply switch what meal a recipe is planned for by clicking the meal (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Other) to the left of the name of the recipe above the actual Meal Planner bar.  Once your recipes are added, Meal Planner automatically generates shopping lists and coupons based on the ingredients needed for the whole week of meals.

When you're done, you can print your weekly meal plans along with all of your selected recipes, the custom shopping list and corresponding coupons.  You can also send meal plan info to your email address or to a cell phone.  Just use the "Print and Send" buttons above the calendar bar.

Important: Be sure to sign in to save your work before you close your browser.  In other words, Mealbox lets you do lots of things before requiring you to sign in which makes it more interesting to try out without committing yourself but if you want to save what you have created for another time, you will need to sign in.

I really like the concept of ther Meal Box section but have been unable to print the coupons despite several attempts. I even allowed cookies, but that didn't work either. Any any suggestions? Thanks, Char

To Print coupons you can either open an individual coupon and select print in the upper right corner above the coupon or you can add a coupon to your shopping list and print it when you print your recipes and shopping list. This print function will be at the top right hand corner above your loaded shopping list.

What a fantastic idea this is.
I have not yet tried it. I was hoping to read some reviews before I jumped in, and unfortunately, I didn't find many. But this will not stop me from giving it a go. I have recently been a super coupon clipper lately (due to cut backs at work), and it is VERY difficult to coordinate my shopping list with my coupons and recipes. I just feel like it's kinda a big task. Maybe it also has to do with the newly restricted budget I have to work around, forcing me to pay more attention to price tags, and fundamentals instead of buying whatever sounds good. I was much more of an impulse buyer, as where now, I need to plan out my day at the grocery store, which involves looking threw several different store ads to find cheap deals, and clipping coupons, and then shuffeling threw them to find the ones I need for a meal. It's a hassle.
So i am hoping this program will solve all my needs, and bring me back to a 1-stop-shopper

I really like the recipes, I alter most to be a bit more budget friendly and to feed my family of 5. I like how it coincides with coupons and what is on sale. Makes the "think" work of planning the weekly meals easier and more economical. Thank You!

I think the Mealbox shopping list is a great idea; however, I'd love to see it organized in the order of your store aisles and be able to arrange the "Other Items" I manually input in that order. I'd also like to see it be able to save the "Other Items" from week to week since those are a lot of the items I buy on a weekly basis. But, a great tool that makes preparing the shopping list so much easier! Thanks!

We are always looking for new suggestions on ways to improve Mealbox. The shopping list will see a facelift in our future updates which includes customers being able to edit the list and allow for permanent items that you buy weekly.

I am new to the meal box coupon thing and wanted to give it a try. Had a question - If I am planning to buy two kraft salad dressings should I print out two meal box coupons?
